Herniated Disc
A spinal disc is located between vertebrae and has a squishy center similar to a jelly donut.
Over time the disc can deteriorate, causing the squishy centre to slip out of the outer layer.
When the centre slips out of the outer layer, this is known as a herniated disc and can compress the spinal cord.
Common symptoms of a herniated disc are pain in the leg, tingling, numbness, and weakness.
