Migraines

  • A “migraine” is a complex neurological condition with symptoms of severe throbbing head pain, nausea, sensitivity to light, and sensitivity to sound

  • Migraines may also happen with “aura”

    • (visual aura) flashing lights, bright dots, stars, zigzags across your vision, blind spots, temporary loss of vision

    • (sensory aura) tingling or numbness in one hand that goes up into the arm towards the face, numbness in an area of the body, troubled or slurred speech, dizziness or ringing in the ears

  • At our clinic, a chiropractor can perform a neurological examination to determine if you are experiencing a migraine

  • A customized plan will be developed to address the potential causes or triggers of your migraines, and help you manage them
