Carpal Tunnel
The carpal tunnel is an area at the bottom of the hand enclosed by bones and ligament.
The median nerve travels down the forearm, into the carpal tunnel region of the hand and innervates certain fingers.
The carpal tunnel condition occurs when the median nerve becomes impinged and as a result can cause tingling in the fingers.
Carpal tunnel can be caused by overuse, arthritis, wrist injuries, and more.
Our chiropractor can perform an assessment to determine if you have carpal tunnel and create an individualized treatment plan.
Some common techniques we may use are exercise therapy, massage therapy therapeutic ultrasound, and electrotherapy.
