Carpal Tunnel

  • The carpal tunnel is an area at the bottom of the hand enclosed by bones and ligament.

  • The median nerve travels down the forearm, into the carpal tunnel region of the hand and innervates certain fingers.

  • The carpal tunnel condition occurs when the median nerve becomes impinged and as a result can cause tingling in the fingers.

  • Carpal tunnel can be caused by overuse, arthritis, wrist injuries, and more.
